Chinese emperors saw the "stone of heaven", jade, as a symbol of power. In Egypt, it was the stone of love, inner peace, harmony, and balance. In Indian culture jade was called the "divine stone" and considered to possess many powers.
While creating the Pink Jade dress I wanted to represent power, love, and beauty and to show it through the combination of different crystals, pearl, lace and feathers.
I used pink jade beads that are hand-sewn to the lace top with other crystals to fill the gown with the magical power of the jade.
It's a gorgeous dress and I love what this dress represents!
